>From MOTOR TREND Many muscle car fans know that the power rating of many classic muscle car engines were deliberately underrated. It was usually done for two reasons... 1) to lower insurance costs and 2) so the car could be in a more favorable class in NHRA drag racing. Here is a chart from a muscle car magazine from the 1980s. Written by Roger Huntington, who wrote articles and road tests for many car mags, including Motor Trend. He mentioned it would be about 2-3 weeks before it would be on YouTube, but, this afternoon he called and said it was going up early tomorrow morning. As respective presidents of the two great 300 clubs, and as a proud member of both, I wanted to share the news with you. Since I haven't seen the finished product, I'm a bit nervous about the outcome, but everything seemed to go well.  300ly,  Bob Jasinski  -- "A government big enough to give you everything you want, is big enough to take away everything you have." ...
