This interesting discussion about tires had caused me to draw a couple of conclusions: This is a shining example of how far the USA has fallen in manufacturing that we have to depend on mostly 3rd world countries for our tires...China, India, Indonesia, Korea and Thailand. And secondly, people seemed to have had trouble with all brands of tires. It appears that no popular brand is immune from detractors. Personally had good luck with Goodyear and Arizonian( Discount Tire private label made by Kelly Springfield) got 85,000 miles out of a set. Had bad luck with a set of Pirellis. Lastly...Cooper is still an American company. Last year a giant tire company from India tried to buy them but deal fell through at last minute due to some unreasonable demands made by the Indians. My 2 cents.
