Hi Steve,I had my radiator re-cored last winter by a shop that does vintage style radiators. Cost was about $450. Car definitely runs cooler now.As for your freeze plug issue, are you referring to the freeze plugs in the block and cylinder heads? You may want to reach out to John Begian, as he blew two of his freeze plugs early this summer - 1 at Holland Meet, and 1 a week later. He replaced all of them. He can probably give you some tips on this.My generator is out of the car again - ate another rear armature bearing. Thinking the generator case might be slightly warped.Noel

Hi 300 ites,
had the F up on the lift today and it appears that the lower radiator needs help, ie looks like it needs rebuilt, core looks OK. Any thoughts on who might work on radiators?
It also looks like the front freeze out plug on drivers side has been leaking in the past. No evidence it is leaking now but needs replaced. No way to put the curved plug in. Some discussion by club members in the past on screw in types? Where to get them etc. This was a precheck for the F in hopes to drive it to the 2017 Spring meet in upstate NY next year.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks and go Indians
