Wasn't the Outside Drivers Mirror an Option ?
I have a 1961 Chrysler Prices and Equipment Brochure that a car salesman would use. It's tri-fold. When I open it up there is a full page of " OPTIONAL EQUIPMENT AND ACCESSORIES " . " MAUNFACTURER'S SUGGESTED RETAIL PRICES ".

383 Mirror, Left Outside Remote Control

MODEL AVAILABILITY ALL EXCEPT 830, 870 PRICE $18.00

On the back page it shows the " STANDARD EQUIPMENT" BY MODEL
A=NEWPORT
B=WINDSOR
C-NEW YORKER
D= 300G

ON THE LIST :
MIRROR, OUTSIDE REMOTE CONTROL " C".

According to this document the Mirror was only Standard Equipment on the New Yorker and Optional Equipment on all the others.

Another Item I see on the Standard Equipment list is :

HAND BRAKE FLASHER B, C, D

I do remember my very first 300G, when I was 16, having a Flashing Hand Brake light. Does everyone else with a 300G have their hand brake light flashing ?
Hopefully later this year I will find out if my current 30G has a Flashing hand Brake light.
