Hello Group,
Getting my F ready for the driving season - Our 300 Club's Geneva NY Meet in May, Back to the 50s in June, Iola in July, etc. Just had some brake and front balljoint/tierod work done. The shop also tightened up my steering a bit, but it needs added work where the steering column connects with the steering box. My mechanic's diagnosis is that the disc (part # 19-15-109 per 1960 Mopar Parts Catalog) requires replacement.
Questions -
- Recommended sourcing for a replacement disc, or a rebuild kit that includes this disc?
- Can the steering column be disconnected 'from up top' without pulling the steering box?
- Would like to avoid pulling the rams to complete this project.
Appreciate your tips and suggestions!
Thanks,
Noel Hastalis
