Hello Don -- I had the clock in my 1957 300C converted to a quartz movement by Randy Stebbins of RSGaugeworks.com in Phoenix about three years ago. Turnaround time was ~ two weeks and cost about $200 -- it had not run for more than fifteen years, but now keeps perfect time and I like the sweep-second hand. I met and talked with him in person while at the Good Guys Hot Rod show, so he does a lot of work for that vintage crowd. He explained the specific peculiarities and difficulties with merely rebuilding the original mechanism in the early Chrysler clocks (note that no repair shop can guarantee "just a cleaning and rebuild" of the original mechanism), so I was easily convinced to get the quartz conversion - never have to worry about it again!
