Just a recommendation for Jim McGowan at the Quad Shop in Rockford, IL 815-874-4884 He is a member and did a great job on the carburetor for our 300K!
That was after we had a rebuild and new kit installed locally that did not fix the problem. Jim knows what he is doing and we would have been money ahead going to him first. Plus the carb looks great as we had it refurbished. Thanks Mark

Don Verity recommended Daytona Parts for Ethanol safe carb rebuild kits. The problem I had with my 74, and the 73, as they both have Themoquads, not AFB’s like on our three hundreds, was the kits I bought locally, and at the Rock, did not have alcohol safe accelerator pump rubbers. The one kits pump rubber turned to goo inside the pump well in fairly short order. I did find a vendor who makes just the pump rubbers for the themoquads but they are different than the AFB’s. For my J I just bought the kits from Daytona, if I recall they were like 45 dollars each plus shipping and very complete.
