To my knowledge,. The only change on heads themselves are the rocker arms/ stand assembly (and the valuable “bumped” valve covers to clear stock solid rocker screws) ; of course cam and lifters will now have to be all new. (hydraulic) , hydraulic push rods too, completely different . The push rod ball ends for hydraulics come in two different sizes , have to get matching stuff. Refer him to Hot Heads site? Buy the Tex Smith book, they sell it, has a lot of detail . . Hot heads swap site probably has all he needs, lots of NY or Imperial motors went the other way. Hope that helps. From: Chrysler300@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:Chrysler300@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of John Nowosacki jsnowosacki@xxxxxxxxx [Chrysler300] a friend has a 392 block that used to have solid lifters. It has no heads now, and he wants to know if there is any problem with fitting heads that are hydraulic. Any help appreciated. __._,_.___ Posted by: "John Grady" <jkg@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> To send a message to this group, send an email to: Chrysler300@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe from this group, send an email to bob@xxxxxxxxxxxxx or go to https://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/all/manage/edit For list server instructions, go to http://www.chrysler300club.com/yahoolist/inst.htm For archives go to http://www.forwardlook.net/300-archive/search.htm#querylang __,_._,___ |
