[Chrysler300] Rear transmission deal

Greetings! I have a slight leak at the rear transmission seal on my 300C! I have removed the parking brake drum and noticed there is no gasket or sealer on the surface where the drum mate with the output shaft! Could this be a potential leak point? Thanks,
