Yes there is a very thin and fragile copper strap inside the rubber u joint like device right above the steering box. It touches the column and outer shell The strap breaks .. or it was left out at assembly. Was just looking at this . I am going to drill and tap for 6/32 and wire jumper around the u joint . Hard to explain in email but if you see it you know. The roller and attached wire is hot side of horn .
