RE: [Chrysler300] TRANY FLUID

Joe:

A majority seemed to indicate their preference was Type F (the F for Ford and/or friction).  For firmer shifts and easy on clutches and other components.  Type A is not readily available.

It may take some multiple adds and checks to get tranny and torque converter filled.

Best wishes for a great, leak-proof overhaul and installation.

Subject: [Chrysler300] TRANY FLUID

Hi All,

I know this has been discussed before but I'm still confused.  I'm about to fill a rebuilt trany in my 300H.  What is the recommended fluid type?

Thanks,

Joe Williams
