The ’55-’58 Parts catalog http://www.jholst.net/55-58-parts-manual/engine.pdf (Pages 9-55 & 9-56), lists LH & RH exhaust manifold part numbers for ’57 & ’58 NY’s & Imp’s and a possible mid-year change for the ’58 300D. The catalog number you have for the LH exhaust manifold is the same as in the catalog. The RH manifold is 1675932. Nothing special for the ’57 300C’s. Similarly, there were only one LH & RH exhaust manifold part numbers for each of the ’55 and ’56 300’s, NY’s and Imp’s. The part numbers for the possible mid-year change in 1958 are the same for both sides of the LC-3 engine, only: 1536377. I have read about, but never seen, truck exhaust manifolds for these hemi’s with four-bolt outlet flanges and, presumably, larger passages. Pure speculation: with the lower part number for the ’58 changed manifolds, perhaps they are the earlier truck manifolds??? 300C-D experts might want to chime in on the ’58 change.
