This is too funny. The blue 37 Plymouth (right corner) used to be mine as well! I bought it from the original family owner years ago. Nice 66 300, my dad had one with the 440 TNT, the first car I drove. At 16 it was awesome. I remember my dad pulling a 23' travel trailer and burned rubber when he hit passing gear passing a bus. Those were the days!

Posted by Kurt Ernst - 1966 Chrysler 300 convertible for sale. From the seller's description: One of Chrysler's most attractive designs in the mid 60s was the 1966 300 Sport. The Chrysler 300 "Lettered Series" ended in 1965 with the 300L. Had the Chrysler brass continued with the alphabet into the 1966 with the 300M, it would have had a 426 Street Hemi as its only engine and would be worth a fortune today. I drove these cars brand new as a field rep for Chrysler-Plymouth and can attest to their roadworthyness. I have playfully attached 3...Read More

One that got away - Michael Lamm's Texas Tan hot rod
Posted by Michael Lamm - I found this hot rod as a roller in 1951 and bought an engine, transmission, Columbia axle, and radiator at a local wrecking yard. I had the car up and running within a few months. Photos by author. In 1951, when I was 15, I came across what was left of a hot rod that somebody had started to build sometime in the past. It was essentially a rollerno engine, no transmissionbut I could see great potential in it. So, with stars in my eyes and very little cash in my pocket, I bought the roller for $20a lot o...Read More
