Thanks Noel. I was going to post something to the Club but you beat me to it. Briggs Cunningham built a total of 36 race and road cars, and all but one were powered by the first series 331 Hemi FirePower engine. Come to Greenwich and you will see at least 25 of them. If you do come please ask for me and I’ll show you around.
Thanks again Noel.
Chuck
FYI - Feature article in today's "Hemmings Daily" is on the iconic Cunningham automobiles. Our fellow 300 Club member, Chuck Schoendorf, noted in this article, has assembled a historic group of Cunnigham's that will be displayed at the Greenwich, CT Concours, June 1-3, 2018. For those of you in the area, I'm sure this will be a unique and memorable opportunity to view these classics, and discuss their history, visitng with Chuck.
Those of you who attended last year's Geneva, NY Spring Meet met Chuck, and admired his wonderful Platinum '55 C-300.

From the seller's description: Selling as a package, you'll be hard fetched to find another deal like this, 1989 Jeep Grand Wagoneer: The 19871991 model years are considered the "best of the breed" due to a number of upgrades. These include upgraded wood siding and modernized aluminum wheels that lost their gold colored inlays in favor of gunmetal grey metallic. All exterior colors were now applied in a two-stage base-clearcoat system. A custom 1941 Buick sedanette named for the notorious gangster, on the other hand, just scored a pair of automotive equivalents, taking home both the Custom d'Elegance Award and the World's Most Beautiful Custom Award, presented last Sunday at the 68th-annual Sacramento Autorama in Sacramento, California. Its hood had been painted flat black by a previous owner, and, though it wasn't done professionally, from a few feet away it still looked good to us at the time. We cruised around in Joe's Javelin regularly.
