Actually not weird.

People were concerned about electronics quitting at the worst time. Like
when it starts raining and you run outside to raise the windows and they
don't work. Or on that 90 degree day when you want to lower the windows and
none of the switches are operational. It's happened to me.

The D I sold to member Mats Johansson in Sweden had crank windows, PS and
factory AC, weird, huh??
