RE: [Chrysler300] Barrett- Jackson Palm Beach

Do we have the prices of all of them posted somewhere? Maybe we need to keep a data base of such stuff,  somewhere. Like Gloria’s old condition assessment / sale price forms.. They were great, and beautifully done, long  before internet…

We have to support our California buddies. I am flying out, usual Mustang convert “not available” at Sacramento. Hertz is in a SF fog too? This is California!!  Or are Corolla sedans the # 1 car there now?  PZEV –wow. Grey or silver if lucky.

Seriously,  there is a lot of work to hosting a meet, trying to estimate food etc, renting venues, ---we need to encourage those great people who DO take it on. They are the lifeblood of the club…  The average age is creeping up…Just when a few cars are finally finished.. It gets hard to decide to drive a car worth too much ,---- I hesitate, more about me , than the car, yet I read about a guy who had a perfect red 300C convert, decided one day he was shining  polishing, fretting over  and covering a car for “someone else” who he does not even know to drive someday. So he jumped in it and drove it thousands of miles to California, like it was a ten year old Toyota, got road rash etc. Got it real dirty even. I can relate to that… Or do we put them under an air conditioned bell jar now? So now a “daily driver” with great brakes is moving to job 1 here.

Whatever….

The red car was heavily swirled.. Bodywork was not great. Interior trim was in average condition at best.  I was a little surprised it went for the price it did. The white car had a lot of bodywork showing, car went for a premium in my opinion.  Feel the 300G convertible went for fair money, the F was maybe a bit high given condition.

There were two 300 G's at the BJ auction. Here is the one that mentions it was once white:

Hello; Saw that too.

Originally white, painted the 300 Red.  Do you think that has much impact on the price.  Lot 408.1

Nice red G coupe up on the block. Sold for $65,000..00, plus premium. Very clean car.. I didn’t get the mileage and didn’t see the owner so I don’t know who owned it.
