I believe the hooks have their own part number stamped on them. The 1955-58 Parts Book lists “Jack” in the alpha index as 1-51-1 code but that code does not show up in section 1. For example, in the 1959 parts manual, the jack part number is 1856755 and the jack handle is 1736990. This site has hook numbers for various c-Bodies 1962-1972: http://www.nicksgarage.com/jacks.htm#cbody For your 1957 C, perhaps an owner with a jack thought to be original can provide color and parts numbers on the base and hook. This might be a good research project—find and list parts numbers, photos, colors and storage locations for Chrysler 300 jack hooks, handles and bases.
