There are a couple of interesting facts and/or corrections to the email about Jerry Kocur.
Jerry's 300K cv has over 500,000 miles on it, not 300,000. Jerry surely put on most of the miles, but his mother also drove the K. This is just a guess, but I wouldn't doubt that she thought of the K as "her" car after Jerry bought his 1973 Dodge Challenger. Jerry's sister indicated that the K was her mother's favorite car. That is why the family has particular feelings for it.
Jerry's Challenger has over 600,000 miles on it. So he obviously also drove that a lot of the time.
In case you wondered where I came up with the miles Jerry drove to meets, here is how I came up with the figure. I used Google Maps and put in the miles from Douglas, MA to each of the locations of the meets he attended. No side trips, no specific location of the meets, just town to town. Then doubled the number for the round trip for each. So the figure is approximate, but rounded off or not, 60.000 miles is an impressive number for meet attendance.

SERVER Subject: [Chrysler300] This Came Up At This Past CA 300 Club Meet FYI, since this was brought up at the Club's business meeting - Bob Josey is giving Jerry Kocur's 300 K Vert. to his son who says that he will work on it but we all know how that might go, but... So bottom line - Jerry's last car is now taken care of. We know that Jerry would be happy to hear that all of his cars found good places to go and none were scrapped. Jerry was a true 300 nut and will certainly hold for all time some 300 Letter Car owners records. His 300,000+ mile K surely has the most mileage of any 300 letter car driven by just 1 person and
every mile was driven by Jerry since he was never married and he bought the car brand new. He and his 300 K letter car also attended the most number of 300 club meets. That number is 48. Jerry was way ahead of anybody else in these two categories.
His mileage just to 300 Club Meets meets was over 60,000 (Don Warnaar figured this out and we all know that Don is always right). That is over 20 times across the United States just going to Chrysler 300 club meets alone! Wow!!! These days, he and his off the wall sense of humor are missed at meets. Meets just don't seem right without him. Sigh...
Rest in Peace Jerry.
