[Chrysler300] Re: 1955-58 300 Drums

  Hello Again!

  Based on the replies so far it looks like Black is standard.  (Maybe someone will notice Red on theirs, still).

  I know for a fact my 1958 came from the factory with Red because I have a color photo from 1958 when it literally only had 50 miles on it. The hub caps were off and the drums are clearly Red.  The car was factory built as a race car.  It’s a sure thing that it’s factory on this car..  They still have the original Red paint on them as well.

  The interesting thing is I noticed while removing my ‘55 300 drums that they have what looks like factory Red paint here as well.  This C300 is a factory race car too, and has factory installed Imperial wheels and drums.

  If anyone else has any feedback or can check their hubs please let me know as I’d love to confirm if this is correct or not.
