Not getting any
younger, I have decided that it was time for me to cut down on my herd of
collectible cars.
First one is a 1962
300H convertible which is the only known survivor which has special order paint
code 997.
The color is
silver/lilac which was offered on 1962 imperial.
It went thru a complete
professional rotisserie restoration with over 1000 hours labour.
All was done including
the chrome, new black interior by Gary Goers, gages restored by JC Auto, engine
and tranny rebuilt, rear housing replaced with one from 1965 chrysler to
eliminate the tapered axles.
The second car is my
1965 300L 4 Speed convertible which was featured years ago on Automobile
Quarterly showing all chrysler 300 letter cars from 1955 to 1965. The car is a
rust free California car which I’ve had stored for the past 25 years. I have
many nos parts which I’ve acquired over the years for it. It still has the
California tittle and the blue California plate showing 300L 1 as Arnold
Ferguson at that time was president of the 300 Club.
