Re: [Chrysler300] 1962 300H Convert For Sale

I got some photos of the engine bay and there is NO engine or tranny in the car!
I’ve asked him twice about where is the power train but no reply.
I emailed  those photos to Gloria Moon.

It looks pretty good to me, as though it could be cleaned up, paint (is it original) buffed up, mechanicals taken care and an old set of original leather seats coverings(like I have) be used with what it has, disassembled, stitched back with new welting to make a good set of original seats. Not a hangar queen, but a nice original car.

Hi John,
Wish I was 10 years younger and could still get an interior from Gary!
Yes all H's had dual AFB's.
Even at $34K USD probably $10K too high.
At probably 120K miles, everything would require restoration.
To keep it "numbers matching", rebuilding the original HP 413 and 727 would run at least $7K.

20 k -25 k $ car , to me— needs everything .. possibly not too rusty , is one upside ? Where to get 62 interior seats now ? Driveline easy, 727 and later crank 413 etc  . kind of nice color combination , classic ... 45 ask is Canadian possibly ?

Looks like it's mostly all there, but way to pricey for what it would cost to restore
Wonder what the engine compartment looks like..
