Wow!! $200 for a gas cap. Things are getting expensive. I
might have a original that I glass beaded and cad plated, looks like new. I
would have to verify I have, $2 shipping.

Be sure to get a “Vented” cap and one that has good “anti-splashout” capability as the tank filler sits so low. Mine has this stamped into the steel: “VENTED ANTI-SURGE”. No brand name and it fits a little loose so may not be the best one for the car and probably allows a little fuel loss when full and digging out. Check it out at the store before you pay for it—if they trust you.
