Old stock Auto-lite points, condensers, tune up parts.
Rebuildable Carter fuel pumps, hydraulic brake light switches, WCFB, AFB carbs,
old tools, like the KD435 door handle remover (they used to sell in a blister
pack for 3.00).

I need to gather a little collective wisdom. A 47 year old auto parts
supplier is going out of business in our small town after the recent death of
its founder. And the family will soon be selling out the inventory.
I talked to a family member this morning and I believe that before an
inventory buyer hauls everything off in bulk, I may be given a chance to go
through and look for prizes in the back of shelves and in the corners of the
basement. This is a small, old-timey shop, and I have no idea what I may find
there, but I get to play the role of "picker".
What advice can I gain from you guys regarding hard-to-find parts that
I should be on the lookout for in a place like this? For example fuel pumps (I
know they have at least some), or ceramic element fuel filters.
Your thoughts?
Thank you.
