I bought my 300L new, and fanatic that I was (probably still am). I ordered some extra trim parts from the dealer. One of the parts was the stainless trim piece that goes on the leading edge of the front fender. Must have been a specific 300L part number
because it has the red paint on it. Chrysler made many, many more New Yorkers and non-letter 300s that did not have the red stripe. With its low
production number I am still surprised that they had that little part just for the L. I doubt anybody would ever find any NOS trim pieces with the red in the center, but you never know.
