Re: [Chrysler300] 61 G dashboard

Marilyn;
By installing all components in the dash first, you have better quality control.
You are able to see that all attachment nuts, all wiring connections and all routing of the wires is right.
When done, it's a matter of setting the dash in place, mounting a few nuts or bolts and plugging in 1 or 2 connectors.
It's  a lot more fun that way, and with some careful reading of the Service Manual, you can test most of the components.
Put a blanket on the workbench so as not to scratch up the dash face.
Have fun, Ray

When reinstalling the dashboard is it better to just put in the basic shell and then add all the components or should some things like the glove box, radio be added to the basic shell and then reinstalled?  We have seen pictures of rebuilds showing some both ways.....any advice is appreciated.

If I have stated my question in a confusing manner please feel free to clarify anything....I continue to swim in unfamiliar water for sure!
