Kai, 

I made an upper and lower piece for my 62 300 out of stainless steel.

Polished it and it looks as good as chrome.

Had S.S. studs welded on the back and used a washer, lock washer and nut to fasten it.

Its not a perfect replica but it came out very nice.

I am looking for a chrome trim part for my 62 sport convertible..

It is the long one on the right front fender directly above the golden “Chrysler” letters going from the turn signal backwards to the front wheel housing.

Part number is: RH 2276798

Unfortunately is was broken by the guys from my garage while taking it off …

Looking for a positive answer!
