Be sure to unscrew the serrated nut on speedo head next to where cable attaches and drip 10w oil in . It broke for a reason usually the grease gets hard right there . A toothpick pushed through old grease might be needed to get oil in . That input thing should spin freely . If unlucky your odometer might have jammed , means out It comes. But usually the lubrication at inlet bushing dries up .more oil frees it . Good luck ! John
