I haven’t dealt with early export cars but have dealt with ones from the late ‘60s and early ‘70s. There are Export cars for foreign customers and they’ll have export body tags on them. Then there are Export cars for US citizens abroad, such as people in the military or diplomats. They are US spec cars and expected to be brought back into the states. I’ve heard that some military ordered export cars never actually leave the state but instead got shipped to bases where the buyer was stationed. I wonder how early Randy’s car is. From: Andy Mikonis <r41hp@xxxxxxxxx> I don't know anything about export cars. Randy Guyer's red F convert is coded export but it was in California as long as anyone can remember. No unusual tags.
