I used heavy duty velcro on my heel pads (hook side down to the carpet. Been there for over two years and has worked very well.

I see that the two front heel pads are sewn onto the front carpets. I would imagine that these were originally machine sewn. Has anyone had any experience transferring these to new carpets? Can they be glued down successfully, or do they need to now be hand sewn?
