Re: [Chrysler300] 1957 DeSoto

I owned a 1957 DeSoto Adventurer coupe for several years.  It had a 345 ci Hemi with 2 fours and gooseneck air cleaners and was widely respected for being the very first production model with one horse per cubic standard and not an option.  The Adventurer engine was stock and the only one available.

Hi All

There doesn't seem to a Adventurer in 1957. All DeSoto V8s have hydraulic lifters. The hottest DeSoto engine in 1957, the Fireflite, 341CI Hemi with 4bbl. 1956 Adventurer, same engine. 1958 Adventurer, 361ci wedge with 2 4bbl carbs
