The brake line kit should be the same for NYer and C300. And
Desoto, for that matter. I can't vouch for the quality or how well the
Classic Tube lines fit. I made my own, using the originals as a pattern. My
original booster is a light iridescent gold color. Master is 'surface rust
colored'. :)
Just curious...how much does Karps charge for the rebuild of
the 55 master cylinder and booster ?

all,
I
posted a couple of months ago about where to get the booster and master cylinder
rebuilt for my '55. I bought both of those from Larry Bledsoe recently and he
sent those items to Karps Power Brake Service to get rebuilt. Question is - what
finish is supposed to be on those items? I'm not after show car-type
bling.
From
pictures online, I see the booster color as silver, light gold, medium gold to
match the air cleaner. I assume the master cylinder is a natural finish.
Wondering
if anyone sells a kit for the wheel cylinders and shoes or is it best to buy
them separately. Some eBay vendors have the wheel cylinders and hoses sold
together. Does the 300 have different brakes or can I get a kit for another
Chrysler car that will work?
Lastly,
I'm also wondering if the brake line kit from Classic Tube for the 1955-56 New
Yorker will work for my 300.Or if someone else sells a 300 specific
kit.
Thanks
in advance for your help.
Jim
