RE: [Chrysler300] 1964 Non-tilt steering column exploded view

Check this out.  The column is a GM/Saginaw product and John Holst has published the GM maintenance training manual.

Hi Folks

Would anyone be able to send me a pic from the parts manual showing how the base of the column shaft goes into the top of the steering box, with all the individual parts shown? I have the 1964 shop manual but it doesn’t get into the granularity that I think the parts manual would. I’ve been watching Dr. Merritt’s excellent video on how to do the ground strap for the horn etc and there’s pieces that he shows that seem to be flat out missing on my car, like the V-shaped rubber at the base of the shaft and a few other pieces.. I had a CD years ago that was a copy/compilation of parts manuals that I received from a vendor but I cannot locate it. Grrrr.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Keith
