The stainless trim plates are also held on by a single philips head screw under the steering column collar.

I am wondering if the lower dash escutcheons on the 63-64's are glued on, or just held in place by the controls coming through the dash?

I'll be repainting the steering column and lower dash while awaiting all other parts to arrive! Weighing the trouble to sand around them, or get them out of the way.
