{Chrysler 300} Aluminum grille frame

Hello all,

I recently purchased that 64 grille frame from ebay.

It is NOS.  There are stains and light scratches on visible flat surface 

It's this metal plated,  can it be wet sanded with the club video showing console inserts.

That's stains will not rub out. 

Or, can they be buffed by slow speed drill?

Experience is helpful,
