The 300E had been owned up to a few years ago by Ron Lambert who resided near Mustang , OK south of Oklahoma City.  Ron brought it to the 2006 Lawton Fall Meet and the 2009 Branson Fall Meet. I believe  he sold it at a Tulsa auction a few years ago. Surprised to see the 1959 DeSoto go for only $39K.  All the ‘59 Chrysler Products went for bargain prices.  Rob Kern

The auctioneer fails to mention that this car 1) belonged to Bruce Willis (I don’t know that it makes it worth more - but it should be mentioned) and 2) it placed 1st at the DeSoto national meet. 3) the “Bimini coral over Glacier white” is a great color combination 

(Which just goes to show, it does matter how you market your car)

I will reserve comment on how he did on his investment.
