I bought all the rubber belt, trunk, door, jamb, vent window, the metal molded bits at the top of the doors, and whiskers (form a sub suppleir) from Quirey for my 300F and some for my 55 C69. Have no complaints.
Agreed, things change and vendors are hopefully always striving to improve the quality of parts and service.
With technology always improving, replicating an original part with accuracy should be easier, but still not always economically viable. Also, sometimes our poor experiences are simply the result of unfortunate circumstances, which is why it's important
to share experiences and opinions.....one of the many reasons I value this club.
When Gary first let go and transferred all his stuff to Quirey, I had a long conversation with Quirey about the quality of rubber parts from Gary. Quirey told me that he had a talented mold maker and that most of the rubber parts molds would be redone. So maybe
the rubber/plastic parts quality has improved.
I bought the trunk panel kit along with many other items from Gary Goers 19 years ago for my ‘65 300. The panels were very well done, as were a large number of other items I ordered including carpet. I waited a long time but Gary came through and was more than
fair with pricing.
Unfortunately, my experience with some of his plastic/ rubber moulded items wasn’t favourable, such as the firewall insulation pins, wire loom hold downs, and weather stripping which I found better sources for afterward. I understand the movement to support
Gary and now Quirey; however there are also other vendors providing quality parts that should also be rewarded for their efforts. IMHO
My feeling is that if we’re searching for the best quality parts to keep our cars looking their best we need to continue sharing our experiences with one another AND the vendors we rely on.
My two cents.
I fully support the suggestion that we support Quirey. I have purchased a couple of items from them myself. I was not aware they produce trunk panel kits. By all means please check with them.
Just my 2c, but I think we should really support Quirey who took over the Goer business. We need a solid and dedicated supplier of all the bits we need and want them to make
it worth their consideration to keep reproducing and selling high quality replacement parts.
This endorsement of no commercial value. ‘You dance with the one who brung you’.

I ordered the trunk panels from Quirey Quality Design Co
I received several responses suggesting them.
Thanks to Mark Love, Bob Merritt, and Noel Hastalis for suggesting them. Also thanks Noel for the old Gary catalog.
Thanks also to Caroll Ripley for the link to automotive interiors.

Hey! Welcome aboard. You are in the best Chrysler club ever.
I have heard from others that this material is also good for constructing new trunk divider panels.
Hi everyone,
Just joined the club and group.
Been reading a lot of the posts and people seem very helpful here.
I have a 1965 Chrysler 300 (non letter) convertible and been doing some restoration to it over the winter. I am looking to replace the cardboard in the trunk and wondered if anyone
had any suggestions.
