From: Rich Barber <c300@xxxxxxx> Here’s the link to the interior paint codes. Pretty interesting, actually, with all the different inside metal surfaces to be painted. Rich B. Still in Brentwood. From: chrysler-300-club-international@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx <chrysler-300-club-international@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> On Behalf Of Rich Barber John’s scans of paint chips and codes paint-code.pdf (jholst.net has the Silver Mist metallic Paint Code 2 on the 1964 page and a footnote that interior colors are on the reverse of the page. I’m assuming PPG is referring to interior paint codes for dash and other exposed metal—but if anyone has originals, a peek at the reverse might be interesting. Not to muddy the water but I understand the original convertible tops all had white inner liners and pads and the inside top hardware was all off white. The white inner liners don’t seem to be available now. From: pffkllc via Chrysler 300 Club International <chrysler-300-club-international@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Interesting - the specs for the silver anniversary edition do not appear anywhere in those lists. There is no listing for the 229 silver mist poly paint or for the landau roof. Pete Fitch -----Original Message----- That would be Iowa Boy and my friend-John Holst’s personal website with lots of Chrysler information, including this table of allowable trim colors in various paint colors. There is an interesting trim color option of white and black in the table: specs.pdf (jholst.net) It looks like one could order just about any trim color in most black cars. Rich B. in the real Brentwood CA (No white Bronco’s or Governators) From: chrysler-300-club-international@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx <chrysler-300-club-international@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> On Behalf Of timothytomlinson Folks, it's been years since I sold my last 300-K plus all reference material, so only have memory left. First, my white hardtop with black interior had white headliner. The Wedgewood exterior with light blue interior had light blue headliner. Next, suggest folks try looking at materials the website by a fellow in IA has with shop manual, sales materials, etc. Obviously I no longer recall the site address, but it was very thorough. Lastly, seems I recall a matrix somewhere in materials for the 1964 cars that listed the normal exterior colors, then the available interiors for each exterior. I THINK then there was a listing of headliner standard color for each standard interior color. May have been at beginning of the shop manual or parts book for "Interiors" section. Or sales materials on the site I can't recall. You folks need to help fill the blanks of what I recall, at least as it applies To the K. Tim
