John- Thanks for the kind words. I noticed however that many people came to me and said “this is our favorite car here” and I am sure Michael heard likewise. We know that Concourse events like this one tend to favor European cars where automotive styling is thought to have originated. After all, best of show was 1953 Abarth 1100 Ghia. However the public adoration of the letter cars, especially when the hood goes up is reassuring. These are still beautiful brutes. I had a tough class as well. My class included these: First Place Second Place Third Place On the other hand a 61 Dual Gia (owned by Mark Hyman) took first in his class with a car wearing Plymouth door handles, windshield and vent windows along with about 65% of the rest of the thing. But it was pretty. We will keep trying! From: 'john begian' via Chrysler 300 Club International [mailto:chrysler-300-club-international@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx] Daniel and Michael, Glad to see you got your cars out in the public! Visibility of our cars will get more people interested in them. You never know who will happen by. Be sure to send some pics of the event!
