I was able to obtain a black carpet without the heel plate for our 300K. I had it installed over and stuck to insulating padding. It might have been from Legendary. I still have not installed the OEM heel plates and have always wondered whether the aluminum strips should be polished or just left flat/oxidized. In retrospect, I found out later my upholstery guy has a HD sewing machine and could have resewn the pads to the new carpet. I also understand that there are adhesives that will stick the plates wherever they need to be on the carpet and will make a lasting bond.

Subject: {Chrysler 300} Carpet for 300k
Hi all,
Has anyone had good or bad experiences with carpet suppliers for a 300k coupe? We're looking for good fit mainly with ability to leave off the heel pad so we can reattach the original ones.
Cheers and thanks in advance,
Mike
