RE: {Chrysler 300} 64 Ram choke cable assy

Guys:

When I ordered my cable, I received an e-mail. Asking me what kind of car I had. I replied back that I was rounding up all of the components to return my Ram K to stock. Several weeks went by and I thought that, maybe he won’t sell me the part because its not going on a Max Wedge car. I asked about the order again and I was told that the owner was out of town and the lady would ask him on Monday, when he was due to return. No Update. After 7 weeks I got an invoice to pay. Cindy, told me that the cable had been on backorder. She could have saved me some grief by telling me weeks before that the cables were on backorder. So, Dave, you can at least warn your friend.

That’s the part I bought from Kramer in April 2017 and that’s what I paid for it. Cindy at Kramer said that the guy who makes these units has been winding down so there’s no clear eta if your friend orders one.

I just purchased a dual pull manual choke cable from Kramer Automotive for my Ram K. Their on-line catalog used to list this part, now they no longer list C Body parts. They do list the cable under Max Wedge Parts. Their description “Dual Choke cable W/ Dash Bezel & Nut”
Cost $245 US. Here is the part #: M14-IN-001. When I was looking at this part, Bob Merritt was able to confirm that this was the part # that they sold the J/Ram K cables under.
