hi Sort of partial recollection of past experiences with this : you often cannot get cover off large dual mopar masters of late 60’s no room for the bail handle either . had to make a flat cover of Al plate with tabs held on by muffler style U bolt under master .
-- Dodge dart fit too but very small reservoir . Never did understand that reservoir size aspect , why is small ok on dart ? Specifically as best I can remember there is a police dodge drum / drum master about 68 ? large one , but correct valving and bore for 4 large drums . may have to put mechanical brake switch . hope it helps a bit .. john Sent from my iPhone not by choice I'm sorry I thought this 300g was going to have disc brakes in front. If it's all manual the advice you've been given is good any flat top Master for a 68 Chrysler New Yorker for example will do the job. I use that under the booster of my 61 Savoy which has a ram setup Sent from my Verizon, Samsung Galaxy smartphone -------- Original message -------- From: Bob Jasinski <rpjasin@xxxxxxxxxxx> Date: 2/7/22 12:42 PM (GMT-05:00) To: 'Chrysler 300 Club International' <chrysler-300-club-international@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Subject: {Chrysler 300} 300G 2 pot master cylinder upgrade. I was contacted a couple days ago from a shop doing work on a 300G. The shop tech explained that the owner has requested a dual circuit, 2 pot master cylinder be installed with the required additional brake lines, and he wanted to know what master cylinder would fit. I told him I wasn’t aware of any drum/drum master cylinder upgrades but did tell him that some have done disc/drum upgrades that included a change to a 2 pot disc/drum type master cylinder. Has anyone done a drum/drum 2 pot master cylinder upgrade? What master cylinder was used?
