Hi all, I lubed that small wick in the back of the speedo as follows. After removing the cover beneath the speedo, I loosened the screw with a small screw driver. Then I used a straw to remove the screw completely. Using a syringe loaded with light oil I injected a small amount of oil by pushing the syringe needle through the cotton. Withdrew the needle and reassembled. Easy as pie.
