Thanks to all for input. Wiped off the housing and found the digits. It is in fact a Feb. 67 Hemi alternator a PO must have installed. Only 37 amp! I can buy a 50 amp AC Delco reman for 50 bucks, so why rebuild, plus this one as a core is worth some big bucks on eBay! Allan From: chrysler-300-club-international@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx <chrysler-300-club-international@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> On Behalf Of apozdol@xxxxxxxxxxx The alternator on my 64 K is a copper color. Was this original to this year? I recall seeing a copper colored alternator years ago on our 57 Plymouth 318, a factory picture of a 413 Imperial motor and just found a 426 Hemi factory picture with a coper colored alternator.
