If you don't mind me asking, what did they charge you for the 'spa visit' ?

 

I had my late 50s Dodge body shell media blasted by a shop that does similar work for the aircraft industry, for around 1600. That was in 2015. They didn't do the phosphate coating, but my paint shop at the time picked it up and immediately put it in epoxy primer before it could start rusting.

Car has its good and bad spots.  Doors, hood, trunk and one of 
the fenders were very good.  Firewall on car looks excellent  ground 
for a long time so lower part of car has problems.  Also had some bad patch 
jobs on one of the quarters.  I've acquired new floor, rockers and trunk 
section.  May not need rockers.  All can be repaired but am looking 
for parts including:

• Right front fender
• RH and LH lower quarters
• Floor pan braces 
• RH and LH rear outer wheel houses

Any leads??

Pro Strip Indy.  Used to be Redi-Strip but there was some consolidation of companies and they changed their name a while back.  The do a lot of cars and do an excellent job.  I took my doors, fenders, hood, trunk and subframe up there first.  Turned out great so took rest of vehicle up.
