Looking for input on this subject.

I recently discovered that one of the choke pots on my newly purchased 300G was burnt out.  There was a huge hole in it.  John Grady to the rescue with one of his beautiful stainless choke pots.  Since I just bought the car, I have no idea how long  this condition existed.   The thermostatic coil spring was frozen in place.  The arm of the choke was fully extended and it had been disconnected from the choke flap on the carburetor and the flap had been wired wide open.  This condition did not effect the car cold starting.  To make thing right, I started the hunt for a replacement thermostatic spring.  Actually two of them to balance the choke opening rate on both carburetors.  I found a source on e-bay, in case you need one,  search for 1955-71 choke Thermostat Coil Carter AFB/WCFB Mopar Dual Quad.
