Hello 300’ly to all! In the initial planning stage of the Pasadena Meet the Nethercutt Collection tour was on the schedule. However, it was not scheduled to be open during the time frame of Sunday to Wednesday of our meet. When actually visiting all the venues on the 28th - 30th of March it became apparent that this would be ideal for members to put on their visit list if they were arriving in Pasadena a few days early or remain a few days after the meet. After the meet agenda was planned and finalized a side trip was considered to visit Richard Carpenter’s collection. We tried to communicate with his collection base to no avail and also contacted two folks who are doing restoration work for him currently and again could not make contact even through these connections. Also the meet schedule was pretty tight and could be somewhat exhausting for attendees after touring for two days by bus. Again this may be a place to visit if you can make contact to see if his collection is open to the public and visit either before or after the meet.
