{Chrysler 300} 1964 Idle Arm

Hello,

Can someone enlighten me on the idle arm unit? The factory shows a 220-080 as the arm part number for the full size except Imperial.

I received, as part of a front end kit, the bushing style and not the bearing style. This car is a documented 98K mile car. I doubt this idle arm was ever changed.

Can someone tell me if either I got an assembly line swap of a part (Imperial) or perhaps it was changed at some point.

The issue is the bolt will not fit the bushing style. It is smaller in diameter. It fits the holes in the frame fine.

See the attached photo for the arm, the factory set up on the right and the replacement on the left.

Thanks, James
