I have had trouble with gaskets overlapping ports after machine work . Very dicey to get no vacuum leaks sometimes there .

Maybe dowels to locate gaskets ?

I had to file one edge of port hood hard to do as stuff is very tough yet leaves a rough edge . 

Big fan of rtv you cannot see there …
