Yes, I saw the black J at the hotel in Carmel as well and spent some time talking to the owner. As I remember it was not the Lusvardi car, but I can’t remember the fella’s name. This was before I was the J consultant, and so I don’t recall checking the VIN.

I remember pulling up to the hotel in Carmel and a black J was parked there. I didn't see it again for the rest of the meet. I'm guessing this was the car.

This J was for sale around the time of our 2011 Carmel meet and owned by Reuben Lusvardi in CA. Prior to Reuben’s ownership it was owned by Carl Elliot. I believe it was bought in 2011 by Jim Gesswein of Gesswein Motors in South Dakota and flipped very quickly. Last October I was contacted by an Aaron Ruskin in CA who currently owns the car and perhaps is the current seller. The car left the factory as a MM-1 Alabaster car and has received a color change to black. I have not seen the car in person.
