Hank, They are a good tire. Just like the old DB tire based on the Yoko’s. The issue is using them on daily drivers in a city with a lot of parallel parking. Sooner or later, you rub a curb and then you are wet sanding them to get the scrape out. Do this a few times and/or use them extensively in the rain and
at $300 a pop…the Hankooks look like a good tire to use on a daily car… James From: Hank Hallowell <Hank@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> For the record I have Diamond Backs on a dozen of my cars (G convertible) and Auburn series tires on my totally original G hardtop (with the pie-crust edge) and they are just super tires - and look great too. The whitewalls stay white! I’ve never had a problem with them and I wouldn’t have anything else. Coincidentally, I have Hankooks on my daily drivers - I love them too!!! Hank
